Ph.D., Geological Science, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Current

I am a Ph.D. student working with Dr. Xiaoming Liu.

My research mainly focuses on understanding continental weathering through rock-fluid interaction experiments, geochemical measurement and fieldwork. I am also interested in earth’s evolution, including oxygen changes in the atmosphere and ocean, paleoclimate reconstruction and implications of mass extinctions by measuring common isotope ratios and EES isotopes in carbonates. I plan to carry on the research on lithium and cerium isotopes in the next few years.

Aside from research work, I enjoy hiking and bodybuilding (although I am not good enough). Great movies and drinks are my favorites.
